I can’t
believe we are already having Spring Break in less than two weeks. I’m really
excited about that because I get to travel back to Nebraska. It is certainly
not THE PLACE to go for Spring Break among college students, but I’m happy to
get to see some friends again from last semester. However, there are some
midterms coming up next week, I guess it’s going to be a busy weekend.
Everything’s
going pretty well in Athens. I’m settled and I have a daily routine: going to
classes, working out at Ping afterwards, and then go home do homework and cook
some good food. However, I got sick last week because of the weird weather
change. One week feels like a nice day in spring, and the next week feels like
deep snowy winter.
GLC is going
pretty well just like all of my other classes. About two weeks ago we had to
take a leadership style survey. Usually I don’t take surveys that serious, and
I don’t really believe on what they say about my personality or whatever. But
the result was really accurate. Surprisingly, I could apply almost everything
to myself. For the future, the report was helpful and I actually might take
some tips out of it to improve my interactions within a group.
This weekend
Professor Garrett is coming to Athens. He will lecture on Wednesday, and talk
to every group about the policy memo and the presentations. We will also meet
for dinner on Thursday. I’m really excited to talk about Athens, life in Ohio,
and how everything’s going here.
